The guinea fowl have landed

12 Dec

We accidently acquired 2 guinea fowl.  These are actually the wild type, not the domestic ones, so they don’t have the nice blue heads.  Hopefully, we can get some eggs from them, if not, they may become our dinner sometime.  Here is a picture of the cage I built for them – all by hand with no power tools!  Pretty happy with it.

I am most impressed with the shelter you constructed.  Just think what you can do with power tools.  Your Dads skills must have rubbed off on you. Proud of you both and a little jealous.  Mom

I plan to adopt 3 hens soon. Maybe I’ll try to copy your design for a chicken coop. Would that be copyright infringement???????? good to hear from you. Have you met Dr. Simon and his wife Lidia yet? They helped us w/our last medical mission and they are wonderful folks. They live in Soroti and have Charity Women’s Assoc. (CHAWOA.). I can send you their e-mail address if you like. Others at CLIDE may know them too. What are your Christmas plans? You’re in my prayers.
